Critical success factors for technology-based startups

Technology-based startups (TBSs) significantly contribute to the generation of jobs and economic development; therefore, success these companies should be guaranteed. However, despite their importance, TBSs have a high failure rate worldwide. The objective this study is identify CSFs for based on analysis information systems theory, as well theories human, social, organisational behaviour. This descriptive empirical performed simple correspondence perceptions 125 CEOs located in Peru using student's t-test. following effects were identified: technological surveillance → knowledge absorptive capacity, capacity perceived performance product and/or service, dynamic capability, innovative entrepreneurial culture, service customer satisfaction, quality satisfaction. results showed that all identified relationships valid t-test at 95% confidence level, with or very effect, except impact culture. ten TBSs.
